Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, or using Daily Deen (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hemalayas Webcare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the Daily Deen mobile application, available on iOS and Android.
Description of the App Daily Deen is an Islamic spiritual focus and wellness application designed to support Muslim users in their daily religious practice. The App provides the following features:
Prayer Times – Location-based prayer time calculation (Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) Qibla Finder – Compass-based direction toward Makkah Quran Reader – Browse and read surahs with Arabic text and English translation Mood Check-In – Daily emotional check-in and mood tracking Daily Verse – AI-curated Quranic verses based on mood and life context Saved Library – Save verses with personal notes and mood tags Prayer Lock / Focus Mode – Block distracting app categories around salah times Dua Reminders – Scheduled push notifications for duas Dhikr Counter – Tasbih counter Wudu Steps – Step-by-step wudu guide Streak Tracker – Daily engagement streak Mood Analytics – Visual mood history and weekly/monthly summaries Journey Dashboard – Progress overview Home Screen Widget – Prayer time widget Multilingual Support – English, Arabic, French, Turkish, Malay, Indonesian, Bengali, Urdu
Eligibility You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
User Accounts and Data Daily Deen does not require account registration. During onboarding, you may provide a first name and personal preferences (age range, daily goals, prayer frequency, and language). This information is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. There is no cloud sync. All user data, including saved verses, mood history, and preferences, resides solely on your device. Deleting the App permanently deletes all associated data.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases 5.1 Free and Premium Tiers Daily Deen offers a free tier and a premium subscription tier. Premium features may include AI verse personalisation, advanced analytics, and additional spiritual tools. 5.2 Subscription Terms
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device’s account settings No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law
5.3 Restore Purchases If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you may restore previously purchased subscriptions using the “Restore Purchases” feature within the App. 5.4 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or collect data from the App Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or networks connected to the App Use the App to transmit any malicious code or harmful content
Religious Content Disclaimer Daily Deen provides Quranic verses, duas, and Islamic guidance for informational and spiritual support purposes only. The App is not a substitute for qualified Islamic scholarship. Users are encouraged to consult qualified scholars for religious rulings (fatawa) or matters of significant religious concern. AI-generated verse suggestions are curated based on user input and are intended as reflective prompts, not authoritative religious guidance.

Intellectual Property 9.1 App Content All original content within Daily Deen, including the app design, user interface, graphics, and original text, is the intellectual property of Hemalayas Webcare and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. 9.2 Quran Content Quranic text and translations are sourced from AlQuran.cloud and are used in accordance with their terms of service. Quranic content is considered sacred and must not be used in any manner that is disrespectful or contrary to Islamic etiquette. 9.3 User-Generated Content Personal notes and saved content you create within the App remain yours. As this data is stored locally on your device, Hemalayas Webcare does not access, use, or claim ownership of your personal notes.
Privacy Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
Push Notifications The App may send push notifications for prayer times and dua reminders. You may enable or disable notifications at any time through your device’s system settings. We are not liable for missed prayer notifications due to device settings, battery optimisation, or operating system restrictions.
Device Permissions The App requests the following device permissions:
Location – Required to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your geographic location Notifications – Required for prayer time alerts and dua reminders Screen Time / App Usage – Required for the Prayer Lock / Focus Mode feature
You may revoke permissions at any time through your device’s settings. Revoking certain permissions will disable corresponding features.
Accuracy of prayer times (times are calculated estimates and may vary slightly from your local mosque) Accuracy of the Qibla direction (compass accuracy depends on device hardware and environmental interference) Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App Fitness for a particular religious or spiritual purpose
Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HEMALAYAS WEBCARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or any in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hemalayas Webcare and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to other users or to the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hemalayas Webcare regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
